âąī¸ Timing & Modes
TriviaFlow supports two distinct ways to run a quiz session. You can switch between these modes in the Game Configuration or when creating a session.
1. Manual Mode (Game Master) đšī¸â
Best for: Live Events, Classrooms, Pub Quizzes
In this mode, YOU are in control. The game pauses after every step and waits for your command.
Flowâ
- Lobby: Players join. You click "Start Game".
- Question: Question appears. Timer runs down.
- Results: Correct answer is shown. Game Pauses.
- Host can discuss the answer, make jokes, etc.
- Leaderboard: You click "Next" to show scores.
- Next Question: You click "Next" to proceed.
2. Auto-Pilot Mode đ¤â
Best for: Kiosks, Automated Challenges, Background Entertainment
The system runs itself based on pre-configured timers.
Flowâ
- Lobby: Timer starts counting down as soon as the first player joins (if configured).
- Question: Standard timer.
- Breaks: System waits for
AUTO_QUESTION_DELAYseconds, then automatically moves to the next question.
